Where you can be hosted in Thailand
Explera hosts creators in Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui and Pattaya. Bangkok suits food, culture and city content; Phuket and Krabi suit island and boat days on the Andaman coast; Chiang Mai suits crafts, temples and mountains; Koh Samui runs on a different rainy season. Longer tiers can combine two bases in one trip.

Bangkok
Bangkok is where most hosted trips to Thailand start and where food, culture and city creators get the most material: riverside temples, Chinatown's street food, markets and rooftop skylines. It works all year, though November to February is the most comfortable. Temple dress codes are strict, and traffic means we plan each day by district.
Andaman coast, southern Thailand
Phuket
Phuket is Thailand's largest island and the main base for boat days on the Andaman coast, including Phang Nga Bay and the Phi Phi Islands. It suits travel, luxury, nightlife and family creators. Come between roughly November and April for calm seas; from May to October the southwest monsoon brings swell and cancelled boat trips.
Andaman coast, southern Thailand
Krabi
Krabi is the quieter mainland base on the Andaman coast, known for longtail boats, limestone cliffs, Railay's climbing walls and island-hopping to the Phi Phi and Hong islands. It suits adventure, nature and slow-travel creators. The best months are roughly November to April; boat days are less reliable in the May to October monsoon.
Northern Thailand
Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is northern Thailand's cultural base, surrounded by mountains, with hundreds of temples, craft villages and a slower pace than Bangkok. It suits culture, craft, food and wellness creators. November to February is cool and clear; late in the dry season, roughly February to April, smoke haze can badly affect visibility and air quality.
Gulf of Thailand, southern Thailand
Koh Samui
Koh Samui is the main island in the Gulf of Thailand, known for resort and villa stays, wellness retreats and boat days to the Ang Thong marine park. It suits luxury and wellness content. Its weather differs from the Andaman coast: the heaviest rain usually falls from around October to December, and the middle of the year is often drier.
Eastern Seaboard, Chonburi
Pattaya
Pattaya is the beach city closest to Bangkok, reachable by road in a few hours, and suits nightlife, beach-club, family and short-trip content. Creators film beach clubs south of the city, day trips to Koh Larn, and the carved wooden Sanctuary of Truth. It pairs easily with Bangkok on a two-base trip.
Two coasts, two monsoons
Thailand's beaches sit on two coasts with different weather. The Andaman side (Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi) is driest from about November to April. The Gulf side (Koh Samui) usually gets its heaviest rain from around October to December and is often drier in the middle of the year. If your dates are fixed, the coast can follow the weather.
Moving between bases
