Bangkok is where most hosted trips to Thailand start and where food, culture and city creators get the most material: riverside temples, Chinatown's street food, markets and rooftop skylines. It works all year, though November to February is the most comfortable. Temple dress codes are strict, and traffic means we plan each day by district.

What creators film here
- The Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun along the Chao Phraya river
- Chinatown (Yaowarat) after dark, when the street-food stalls are at their busiest
- River boats and canal life on the Thonburi side
- Rooftop bars and the skyline at blue hour
- Markets, from flower markets to weekend markets
When to come
November to February is the cool, dry season and the easiest time to shoot outdoors. March to May is very hot. The rainy season runs from around June to October; showers are often heavy but short, and wet streets under neon can work well for night content.
Getting around on a hosted trip
Your airport transfer and transfers to agreed activities are in a private licensed vehicle. Bangkok traffic is slow, so days are planned by area, and river boats or the train are often faster for short hops between sights.
Filming notes
- Temples and the Grand Palace require covered shoulders and knees; shoes come off inside temple buildings. Bring a layer even in the heat.
- Photography is restricted in some temple interiors; follow the signs and staff instructions.
- Tripods and gimbals may be restricted at busy sites. Ask before setting up.
- Drones are generally not allowed over palaces, temples or central Bangkok without permissions. Do not plan on aerial shots here.
- Monday is quieter at some street-food spots because some stalls close for the day; check before planning a food shoot.
